In brief to fully address the review the student will need to consider the following points:
1) Student must remember that a critical review of journal papers provides the reader with an overview of the areas concerned.
2) Demonstrate that they have extensively researched the topic, including relevant journal reviews and original papers. As this is an MSc
assessment there should be at least 20-25 of references included which reflect the depth of your research.
3) Utilise current peer reviewedresearch papers
4) Provide a general introduction to the condition/question e.g. aetiology of the condition or the problem at hand
5) Maintain a structured argument
6) Include information on methodology where appropriate, including comments on limitations and sensitivity/specificity
7) Ensure any specifics of your review title have been addressed in the submission.
The critical review must present both sides of the argument and provide evidence as to why the student has come to their conclusion. The must ensure that the review focuses on the specifics of essay topic/title, does not contain lots of irrelevant material and has significant depth and detail.

Feedback policy
All marks released are subject to final Assessment Board decisions and are therefore provisional until after the Board sits.
Coursework will be moderated and students can expect to receive feedback on Moodle within 2 weeks of submission.
The overall grade for the assessment will be released on Moodle by 20th May 2019.

Support and guidance :
1) During the workshops you will have an opportunity to discuss the coursework assignment brief and to ask questions to the module leader. Group discussions will be encouraged in workshops.
2) Students will be encouraged to use of the Moodle discussion forum will be encouraged for you to ask questions. This will be monitored weekly and answers posted so that the whole group can benefit from answers.

Extensions / Deferrals
