Section 1: Curriculum Vitae
A CV is an individual marketing tool aimed at a future employer. Imagine you are writing a CV for a managerial role in health and social care. Produce a CV (approximately covering 2 sides of A4 paper and double spaced) with the following sections:
● Name
● Contact Details
● Personal profile
● Education & Qualifications
● Work Experience (including Volunteering)
● Skills
● Personal Interests
● References (that is, job references)

Section 2: Cover Letter
A cover letter is a short letter that introduces you to your employer and is sent alongside your CV when applying for jobs. It assists in selling your application and provides an opportunity to let the employer know who you are and why you are the best candidate for the job. In this cover letter you will highlight your experience, attributes and skills to demonstrate your suitability.
